A maniacal knitter, I lived in London all my life until about 17 years ago when I met my husband while I was on holiday in Turkey and I've never looked back since. We still live in this richly cultural, beautiful country with our two children. There is so much traditional arts and crafts here, especially created by women, that I barely know where to start adapting them to my addiction-turned-business ~ Knitting!
About The Knit Box
The Knit Box is about yarn, knitting accessories and handknits which are uniquely designed or carefully selected from traditional crafts found in Turkey.
Yarn is local produce and all other products are lovingly and thoughtfully handmade by talented artisans who are keeping alive centuries-old ethnic crafts. Fair trade applies, of course.
To help all of this reach as many hearts as possible I have done my utmost to keep prices as affordable as possible.
